Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy independently regulates the shipping, delivery, and logistics procedures for products purchased on the website www.oliomado.com. It is an integral part of, but separate from, the Terms and Conditions of Sale.

2. Scope of application
This Shipping Policy applies to all shipments of food products, particularly extra virgin olive oil and products in oil, purchased through the Site and intended for end and/or professional customers.
Shipments are made exclusively to the countries indicated on the Site at the time of the order.

3. Reference legislation
Shipping and delivery activities are carried out in compliance with current legislation, including:

  • Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code)

  • Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002 (food safety and traceability)

  • Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004 (food hygiene)

  • National and European legislation applicable and in force in 2026

Shipping times, costs and methods

4. Order processing times
Orders are generally processed within 2–5 business days of confirmation, unless otherwise specified or in cases of force majeure.
The delivery times indicated on the Site are purely indicative and may be subject to variations not attributable to the Owner.

5. Shipping costs
Shipping costs are clearly indicated during the purchase process, before confirming the order, and vary based on:

  • destination;

  • weight and volume of the goods;

  • shipping method selected.

Any promotions or free shipping thresholds are specified on the Site.

6. Delivery methods
Delivery takes place to the address indicated by the user during the order process. It is the customer's responsibility to provide complete and accurate information.
In the event of the recipient's absence, the courier will apply its standard procedures (new delivery attempt, storage, etc.).

Risks, Liabilities and Food Products

7. Transfer of risk
Pursuant to Article 63 of the Consumer Code, the risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to the consumer when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer, physically takes possession of the products.

8. Products damaged during transport
In case of delivery of visibly damaged products, the customer is required to:

  • accept the package subject to inspection, where possible;

  • Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery to infoagustotuo@gmail.com, attaching photographic documentation.

Late reports cannot be taken into consideration.

9. Responsibilities and limits
The Owner is not responsible for:

  • delays attributable to the courier or to force majeure;

  • non-delivery due to incorrect or incomplete addresses;

  • damage resulting from non-compliant storage after delivery.

Food shipments are made in compliance with the safety and integrity conditions required by current legislation.

10. Applicable law and competent court
This Shipping Policy is governed by Italian law.
For any dispute regarding its interpretation or application, the competent court is that of Bari, except in mandatory cases provided for by consumer protection law.
This Shipping Policy can be consulted at any time on the Site and may be updated by the Owner without notice.
