PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES
High-quality artisanal product made from freshly harvested eggplants. After being washed and cleaned, the eggplants are marinated in vinegar and salt. They are squeezed, seasoned with mint, garlic, and chili pepper, and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. The product is then jarred and pasteurized, ensuring its preservation.
COMBINATIONS
Eggplant preserved in oil can be enjoyed as a quick appetizer in the summer, but it takes center stage on toasted bread or roasted on bruschetta in the winter; it also pairs well with meat-based main courses.
HANDLING AND STORAGE
Store the product away from light and heat in a hygienic environment. Avoid spilling the packaging and check its condition if it is knocked over. If the packaging is damaged, dispose of it. After opening, store the jar in the refrigerator at +4°C.
PACKAGING MATERIALS
The product is packaged in clear glass jars intended for food use. The lids are made of steel with a food-grade rubber membrane that ensures the container is airtight and prevents direct contact between the product and the metal. The packaging material is reusable and plastic-free. The packaging is recyclable.
